1. Is the process secure?
We have teamed up with RBS WorldPay, one of the world's leading providers of card checking and authorisation systems, to bring you a secure payment facility so you can make your donation quickly, safely and easily. The credit card form is secure and the processing of your donation is automatic. The RBS WorldPay gateway uses online live authorisation of cards over an SSL encrypted (secure) link. Any personal details you disclose are captured only once you have entered RBS Worldpay's secure transaction environment.

To satisfy yourself that the transaction takes place through a secure server, if you mouseover the 'Proceed' button on our donation page you will see that the URL displayed at the foot of your browser window begins with 'https' (as opposed to the more usual 'http'). The additional 's' confirms that you are going through to a 'secure' encrypted connection.
 
2. Which credit/debit cards do you accept?
You can donate using your Visa, Mastercard, Visa (Delta), Visa (Electron), Maestro or Solo cards.
 
3. Will I be issued with a receipt?
Yes. During the donation process you will be asked for your email address. Once you have made your donation, a "digital receipt" will be emailed to you automatically.
 
4. Can I get a refund?
If you change your mind about a donation and would like a refund you can apply for it within 42 days of the initial transaction. You will need to provide the details of your transaction and show a copy of the "digital receipt" that was emailed to you at the time of donating.

5. What is your privacy policy?
We respect the privacy of all of our donors and are committed to protecting it. We collect all the information that you enter on any of our offline donation forms (and any information you may disclose voluntarily in emails and other correspondence). You are sharing this information with us alone and no one else unless stated otherwise. We use the information from donation forms for the purpose of processing your contribution. We do not sell, trade or rent your personal information to others. When using our secure online donation facility you are going through to a partner company and the information you give is provided so that the transaction can take place. While we strive to protect your personal details, we cannot ensure or warrant the security of any information whilst it is in the process of being transmitted to us, and you do so at your own risk.
